My final project for my Photo 51 course at CCSF, was entitled, "Carmel, Where it All Began".  I've been taking photos ever since I was a kid, and where my love of photography began was on vacations with my family, some 50 years ago, to Carmel and visits to the 17-Mile Drive in Pebble Beach.  I hope the images displayed will give you a glimpse into the beauty I found then and continue to see to this very day.
As a child, the first camera I used was the one my dad shared with me – a Konica film camera.  One year while we were vacationing in Carmel, my dad took me to the Carmel Camera Center where he bought me my first film camera – a Minolta.   What a thrill it was to have a camera of my own.  Since then I’ve gone through multiple film and digital cameras, but my love of photography all started with my dad’s Konica.
